  • The Center for National Policy welcomed Mark Bowden and Barry Watts to share their thoughts on whether continued production of the F-22 should be a priority in our national defense strategy.

  • The Center for National Policy hosted Stuart Bowen for a discussion about important "lessons learned" from the Iraq experience. He also provided suggestions the current administration could implement to mitigate future damage in Afghanistan.

  • The Center for National Policy hosted Governor Martin O'Malley for a discussion about his recommendations for "best practices" in homeland security policy. He also highlighted innovative and effective policies that have helped enhance the safety of Maryland.

  • The Center for National Policy hosted Thomas Mann and Norman Ornstein for a discussion about their views on the current state of post partisan politics and the challenges the Obama administration will face as it seeks congressional cooperation and a bipartisan consensus.

  • CNP welcomed former Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff for an off the record discussion about the overall approach to homeland security issues over the past several years and which outstanding issues remain to be addressed.

  • The Center for National Policy hosted Shirley Kan and Rupert J. Hammond-Chambers for a discussion on the recent Taiwan Arms Package and its impact on security in Asia.
