Homeland Security Funds Cut

Last month, Congress passed a homeland security bill with controverisal state funding provisions. Famously, according to Department of Homeland Security procedures, the state of Oklahoma warranted more homeland security funding than New York City. This and other incidents point to the lack of transparent, objective standards with which to prioritize limited Federal dollars.
